Beginners 4 Week Course // Saturday 21st August 2021

Learn the fundamentals of Vinyasa Yoga in an open and supportive environment, with the opportunity to ask questions at each stage.

This course is best suited for students with little or basic yoga experience looking to develop the foundations of their practice in preparation for our regular classes.

It’s also ideal for anyone seeking to refresh their yoga knowledge with greater guidance through the key fundamentals. One of the main benefits of these fundamentals classes is the time and space dedicated to refining the body in very common poses.

What to expect:

Asana (posture) fundamentals, we will workshop the common poses using an intelligent and functional approach to engaging in postural alignment for individuals;
Give you the nuts (how) and bolts (why) understanding associated with clear verbal alignment cues
How to modify / use props to suit your needs, whilst participating in group / mixed level classes
Simple relaxation and meditation tools and techniques

WEEK 1:
Saturday 28th August ~ San Salutations A + B

WEEK 2:
Saturday 4th September ~ Standing poses + Balancing poses

WEEK 3:
Saturday 11th September ~ Seated poses + Backbends

WEEK 4:
Saturday 18th September ~ Forward Folds, Inversions, Putting it all together

$85 for all 4 sessions
