I have been very fortunate to grow up with a mum who is a yoga teacher . However, it wasn’t until I travelled to India when I was 19 that I began to truly experience and appreciate how transformative yoga can be. I was very fortunate to spend 3 months learning and practicing yoga in an amazing studio in New Delhi run by Seema Sondhi.
When I returned back to Adelaide, I had promised Seema that I would continue my yoga practice. I found a beautiful studio in Unley (Adelaide Yoga Flow) where I have attended classes as a student ever since.
I am passionate about the power that yoga has to positively transform all aspects of one’s life. I like to advocate that any body can do yoga. Whether that be from the mat, a wheelchair or to just close your eyes and do the practice in your mind.
I have completed my Teacher Training with Simon Borg-Olivier and Bianca Machliss from Yoga Synergy and a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy. My style of teaching can be described as a slow flow vinyasa style class. I often share my home practice with my trusted yoga companion- Percy the pug!
