I undertook my Teacher Training at AYA (Australian Yoga Academy) in 2012 after practicing at AYA since 2006 when Sam and I moved to Melbourne. My love and understanding of yoga has steadily expanded since then. Yoga is a journey of self discovery and learning that continues for life.
I teach Hatha yoga in a Vinyasa Flow style, linking movement to breath. My focus is on creating length and mobility of the spine which is often reduced in normal western bodies due to our 'chair culture'.
I would like to see more men in Yoga classes and want to get the message out to the public that you do not have to be flexible to enjoy and receive benefits from yoga. Yoga can be modified to suit you!
My yoga journey is to continue in 2014 as I undertake a one month intensive Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga Synergy's Simon Borg-Olivier and Bianca Machliss.
